Abstract
Weaire examines the relationship between Dionysius of Halicarnassus' "De imitatione" and Epistula "Ad Pompeium." Dionysius claims that his discussion of Herodotus and Thucydides in "Ad Pompeium" reproduces the relevant section of his "De imitatione." However, comparison between the two books reveals a striking difference for the "Ad Pompeium" to represent the text.
