Abstract
Subfossils from 16 holocene wetlands in northern Indiana were described and illustrated. A summary of the relative abundance, stratigraphic occurrence, chronology, and frequency of each taxon was presented. Approximately 57 taxa representing algae, vascular plants, mollusks, insects, and vertebrates were recorded in the survey. The subfossils range in age from recent (within 50 years before present) to 15,910+ or -90 years before present.
